The Washington Capitals continue their hot streak with a 6th consecutive win. The squad opted to show the San Jose Sharks no mercy, scoring 6 goals in the first two periods in a performance reminiscent of Genghis Khan's razing of steppe villages. The Sharks, on the other hand, played a 23/24 adjacent game before remembering how to play hockey and putting up a consolation marker in the 3rd. There were a good few memorable performances from the Caps, with Ovi keeping up the tear he's on with 2 goals, but the one everybody is rightfully buzzing about is that of Ryan "Ryan Leonard" Leonard. The prodigal talent dazzled the universe with a four-point performance, including 2 goals and 2 assists. One of said goals just so happened to be the most awe-inspiring marker this season, and raised the very legitimate question: Is Ryan Leonard actively and knowingly participating in witchcraft? It is yet to be known, but one should look for signs like mysterious straw talismans, or sage incense in Leno's locker. He has undoubtedly earned the title of "Cap of the Day". Next on the schedule for Washington is a strong Ducks team that one might even call Mighty... Until then, have a splendid time
