The Habs lost to a hungrier Philadelphia team Tuesday night.

The Habs came off a very impressive win Sunday night, looking to build off it on Tuesday. They were facing a Flyers team that has surprised many teams this year under Rick Tochett. They are a stingy bunch, who don't give much to the opposition.
The trend continued, with the Flyers winning 4-1.
I'm not going to recap each period, because the game was boring and I didn't watch it. You have to give props to the Flyers, who played a pretty good road game.
After Texier scored late for Montreal in the first period, the Flyers somehow scored even later on a missed backdoor coverage from Anderson. That can't happen
Philadelphia scored early in the second on a two-on-one. They then shut down the Habs for most of the period. Fowler missed the puck with under a minute to go, and the Flyers capitalized on it to make it 3-1.
Despite playing better in the third, Montreal couldn't beat Vladar. Philly scored an empty net goal to make it a 4-1 final.
They weren't atrocious, but it was disappointing to lose 4-1 after such a good win Sunday. It seemed like Philly outplayed them, which I guess happens from time to time.
The team is too cute with the puck. I know they're talented, but they need to shoot it more. They're looking for the perfect play, instead of just shooting the puck. 10 shots through 2 periods isn't enough.
Hab of the Night: Alexander Texier
Scored the only goal of the night for the Habs. He's been good lately.
Next Up: Vs Blackhawks
Chicago doesn't have Bedard.... Montreal has to win that game.
